Panorámica International Golf Academy

Panoramica International Golf Academy, in collaboration with DecoaSports Academic and Sports Services and DecoaSports Academy, has created a pioneering course in Spain for young golfers who intend to continue their high school and baccalaureate studies through the US study system, while training and competing at the highest level.

English proficiency and access to US universities

The quality and flexibility of our study system allows our students to obtain the title of high school, achieve high skills in English, enhance the sporting qualities and maximize the options of obtaining a university academic / sports scholarship.

The courses of 10 months (September  to June) are taught (in internship-College) in Panoramica Golf, the teaching will be entirely in English and with all services included, health-safety, accommodation, food, care and support in the residence and in the competitions.

In Panorámica Academy you will receive study programs for golfers subject to intensive training and competition calendars. Our students will be able to combine the competition with professional training without abandoning their studies. Our educational program allows students to study Junior and Senior High School through the North American system.

  • Panorámica Golf has for many years a fair reputation of great field for competition and especially for training and there are many teams of young promises (Golf Federations of Sweden, Finland, Spain, teachers and their teams, etc.) who train every year and repeat for the facilities and service they receive.

  • Panorámica Golf, is located between Barcelona (1 hour and 50 min.) and Valencia (1 h and 30 min), with easy access by the motorway of the Mediterranean, (AP7 exit 42 Vinarós-Ulldecona) and 11 kms from the see (Vinarós) in the province of Castellón, Spain, located in an environment surrounded by oranges groves and a beautiful estate of olive trees, carob trees, pines, holm oaks, and other Mediterranean small trees.

  • Typically American design, (large streets, 7 lakes, generous and fast greens), for its excellent care, has a high level of play throughout the year, has hosted 4 years of the Ladies European Tour and other important European Open worthy tournaments for the world ranking and from 2014 to 2017 the headquarters of the European Tour Qualifyng School.

  • The region is very quiet and safe and the Panoramica Golf & Resort is totally closed and with private security every day of the year, Vinarós at 11 kms is the nearest and most important town and has a shopping center, cinema, Public Hospital, fishing port, beaches, etc.

  • The head and Golf Director of the Course, Mr. Oscar Sánchez Xufré. is a professor of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation, Professor of the National School of Golf Technicians, and among others has an International Stack & Tilt Certificate, an International Certificate from the Seemore Putt Institute, an Expert in Sports Coaching in Golf by Florida Universities and is teacher and trainer of players from initiation to players of the European Tour and he has been the founder of different golf academies.

  • The golf teachers are people of discipline and qualified technical training and involved in the care and people in their charge and in the improvement of the sport level.

  • Classes are taught in English, (we also have support staff who speak French, German).

  • Searching for excellence prestigious golf teachers will teach master class periodicals and specific (on various subjects or techniques, Tapio Santala, renowned professor of Finland is responsible for such special training, biomechanics, competition psychology, etc.)

  • The training in golf will be 4 hours per day from Monday to Friday, on weekends and holidays will be to compete or rest.

  • The practical classes will be taught in groups of 4 students per golf teacher, in the Driving Range, in the Swing Box, in pairs three and on the golf course (in coordination for the schedules with the academic training).

DecoaSports Students

  • DecoaSports Academy establishes an individualized curriculum according to the needs and academic-athletic abilities of each student.

  • Our students are enrolled at the University of Nebraska High School, an accredited institution of the Nebraska Department of Education and the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI). The subjects are also recognized by the NCAA.

  • Students attend, in small groups, 5 hours of daily tutorials during which they study, do the tasks and projects indicated by the high school program and take the exams, supervised by our teaching team.

  • Our school also teaches exam preparation classes for the American university. All students who aspire to obtain a sports scholarship in the university must pass the exams to access it (SAT-I / SAT-subjects, TOEFL, GED, …) and continue their training at a high sport level.

Accommodation

In Apartments Villages Golf Panorámica. In front of Hole 9.

Cabe destacar:

  • For greater comfort of the athletes and in order to maximize their time, our students will be housed in apartments of 51 m2t. Panoramic Golf integrated in the Panorámica urbanization and only 80 meters from the golf course and study center.

  • For security and control the apartments and the whole urbanization (closed and with a single access) have security in the entrance and patrols during the 24 hours and every day of the year.

  • For the best control and help of the students, they will always have a responsible night monitor, who stays in the annex apartment.

  • Cleaning services for the apartment (twice a week) and weekly laundry are included.

  • Normally students will leave the apartments at 8.00 a.m. and must return at 20.30 p.m.

Alimentation

The meals are made in the El Olivar Restaurant of the Club House. In specific area for students.

Cabe destacar:

  • They will have a nutritional plan appropriate to their age and adapted to their needs as growing athletes.

  • All the food is prepared in El Olivar Restaurant, from the Panorámica Golf Club House, which is why they are mainly fresh, local and typically Mediterranean food.

  • Normally there will be 5 meals a day, with breakfasts, lunches and dinners stronger, and two snacks with juices or fruit (1 in the morning and another in the afternoon) according to schedules of training and teaching.

  • The usual schedule will be, breakfast at 8.00 in the morning, lunch at 13.15 and dinner at 20.30.
